The Bradshaw Clan

Bill's Photos

Snowshoe Mountain, WV

We would never have made it on the crooked roads without the GPS

The roads got smaller

And smaller

The fog was so bad you could hardly see the racers

This is the race cousin Tara Dunaway rode in

Fog not much better for the big AM race

You couldn't see the ATVs on the course

The fog got better as the race went on

It was muddy out there

Jerry Dunaway pits for clean goggles and gloves

Kenny Shepard needed to clean the handle grips after getting stuck in a mud hole

No room to pass in the woods

Fans hide behind trees in the woods

One ATV problem usually stops several others

A wide path on a hill gave room for passing

The hairpen turns were tough

Getting ready for the afternoon Pro race

Scott lined up five wide in row 21

Scott get final instructions from Mom & Wife

And chats with mechanic for Pro Champ

Scott checks out that first turn

Scott gets his head ready to race

Pit crew chat with Pro Champ, Bill Balance

And they are off

Adam McGill would win the race

Pro Champ Bill Balance with cracked rib would finish 2nd

Scott pits after 1 lap to patch hole in air intake

Scott brakes to make the tight turn

It was a bear behind the cabins last night. We like deer better

No snow but one of several chair lifts was running

The race course below the chair lift

Some of the hotels in Snowshoe Village

The end of a fun day at the races

Sunset in the mountains

The room had a Murphy bed almost like Grammie's

And a fireplace

Connie liked the fireplace

On the road again

A lumber village in the valley

A small town in the WV mountains

And a river runs through it

The old boarding house?

The only way to get somewhere quickly in the mountains

Take me home country road

The bridge to nowhere?

The castle. I can get home now.
