Bradshaw, TN

Located at the crossroads of US Highway 64 and Bradshaw Creek Road in Southern Tennessee near Pulaski. I65 came through right by Bradshaw and most of the buildings were moved or demolished to make room for modern gas stations and quick stops for the interstate exit. The community reminds me of Short Creek located around a few stores that are now gone. Bradshaw Creek is about like Cave Creek, a little large than Short Creek. Bradshaw retains its identity as a farming community with a church and cemetery. A local farmer described the old town but could not remember any Bradshaw family living there. Although I found no link to our family, Bradshaw, TN was an interesting visit and I wish I had had more time to explore the community and talk to more of the local folks living there.
