Scott Blain won the Western Kentucky University History contest on Friday, March 19. He was awarded a full tuition scholarship to WKU by placing first in the World History test. Scott is the son of Jim and Teresa Blain of Leitchfield and the grandson of Gary and Dianna Poteet of Clarkson  and Charlie and the late Floris Blain of Falls of Rough. He is a sophomore at Grayson County High School. He hopes to major in economic and political science and attend law school. Tessa Jo Blain was born Sunday, April 6 in Leitchfield.  She weighed 7 pounds and 5 ounces and is 20 ½ inches long.  Her big brother Scott is very proud!  Teresa and baby Tessa are both home and doing great.  We thank the Lord for this wonderful blessing! 

Tessa Jo is Daughter of Jim and Teresa Blain, Sister of Scott and the Granddaughter of Floris Bradshaw Blain.

Congratulations Scott !
Scott Blain finished in the top 10 in the state in this year’s Governor’s Cup competition:  3rd in the state in language arts and 8th in arts & humanities.  The GCMS quick recall team was also 3rd in the state. Principal Jim Blain is very proud of Scott and his school, as are the rest of the Bradshaw Family.
